Optional filtering of non-provider appointments in the patient portal Copied

Practices have the option to hide appointments scheduled with non-human or non-provider resources (such as equipment or rooms) from the patient experience. This enhancement prevents patients from seeing appointments that may not be meaningful or applicable to them

To enable the filtering, please contact your Ontada Health Account Manager.

What’s Changing

• By default, appointments linked to non-provider resources will continue to display as before.
• Practices can request custom filtering rules to hide these types of appointments from:
  • Appointments > Upcoming Appointments in the portal
  • Appointment reminder notifications
  • Next Appointment widget on the For Me page
