Preferred Pharmacy populated in the Medications & Allergies form Copied

To streamline form completion and enhance consistency, the Medications & Allergies form will pre-populate with the patient’s preferred pharmacy from iKnowMed. This integration reduces manual entry time for patients and aligns data across the EHR and patient portal.

Data pre-population overview

• Pre-population Requirements: This feature only applies to practices utilizing eRx.
• Patient Control: The form pre-populates with the patient’s preferred pharmacy or pharmacies listed in iKnowMed under Demographics > Preferred Pharmacy. Patients can choose to:
  • Search for a different pharmacy.
  • Use the pharmacy already on file.
• Form Integration: Once submitted, this information is included in a PDF version of the form, accessible in the Forms Queue, and will be saved to the Documents tab in the patient’s chart.
• Data Integrity: Any changes made by the patient on the form do not directly update their iKnowMed chart yet. Please continue to review and validate changes before making updates.
