New Practice Preference for future prior authorization integration Copied

As part of our efforts to support automated, electronic prior authorization workflows, a new practice preference titled, Electronic Prior Authorization will be added in this release (callout 1).

This preference is designed to prepare your practice for future integration with third-party tools that help automate prior authorization tracking and management.

The preference will be visible to all admin users but will appear as disabled by default as only super users can enable this setting.

At this time, no functionality is tied to this preference. It is being introduced in advance of upcoming enhancements that will allow practices to integrate with electronic prior authorization vendors. We will share more details about the electronic prior authorization feature in a future release.
