Medications & Allergies Form Pre-Population Copied

To streamline form completion and enhance consistency, the Medications & Allergies form will now pre-populate with the patient’s active allergies and reactions data from iKnowMed. This integration reduces manual entry time for patients and aligns data across the EHR and patient portal.

Data Pre-Population Overview

• Active Data Only: Only active allergies and reactions will populate the form. Inactive or resolved allergies and reactions are excluded (callout 1).
• Patient Control: Patients can review pre-populated information, choose to keep it as is, or remove specific items using the trash can icon (callout 2).
• Adding New Information: Patients may still add additional allergies or reactions to the form as needed (callout 3).
• Form Integration: Once submitted, this information is included in a PDF version of the form, accessible in the Forms Queue, and available for saving to the Documents tab in the patient’s chart.
• EHR Data Integrity: Any changes (additions or deletions) made by the patient on the form do not directly update their iKnowMed chart yet. Please continue to review and validate changes before making updates.
