Improved loading experience in the patient portal Copied

What’s changing

The patient portal now uses a more refined loading experience depending on what’s being loaded. Full-page loads in Forms will continue to show the existing loading animation. However, individual widgets and tables will now display a gray gradient animation that mirrors the shape of the content while data is being fetched.

Why this matters

The previous loading animation was designed for full-page transitions and wasn’t well-suited for smaller, component-level loads like individual widgets or tables. The animation gives patients a visual indication that content is on its way, making the experience feel faster and more polished.
