General Queue Last Update Timestamp No Longer Changes When Viewing Tasks Copied
The General Queue will no longer change the Last Update timestamp when a task is opened and closed without any edits being made.
What’s changing
The Last Update column in the General Queue will now only reflect a change in date and time when a task is actually edited. Simply opening and closing a task without making any modifications will no longer trigger a timestamp update.
Note: The General Queue Task Event Management Report will still track when a task is viewed so practices can continue to track, troubleshoot, and optimize queue activity.
Why this matters
The previous behavior created an inaccurate audit trail, making it difficult for practices to track when tasks were genuinely modified. This fix ensures the Last Update timestamp is a trustworthy indicator of actual task edits.
