August 1, 2025 Release Highlights Copied
Practice Insights is pleased to announce updates in the application to support the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS).
MIPS Quality Measures Dashboard
Starting Monday, Aug. 4, 2025, the dashboard will be updated with the following enhancements to improve reporting accuracy and help practices meet MIPS requirements:
MIPS 453: Proportion Receiving Chemotherapy in the Last 14 Days of Life (Inverse Measure)
A new Date of Chemotherapy column will be added to denote when chemotherapy was administered to patients who meet numerator specifications.
PIMSH 1: Advance Care Planning in Metastatic Disease
The Numerator Explanation column will now include the patient’s metastatic diagnosis and ICD-10 codes to help practices more easily identify qualifying patients.
Exported Excel File Enhancements
- Updated sheet names: Summary-1, Summary-2, Top Providers, and Performance Met. The “DO NOT EXPORT” label will be removed from sheet headers.
- All sheets will now include these new columns:
- Report Date
- Time Period Selected
- Corresponding Measure
- The Top Providers sheet will display all providers in order of performance from highest to lowest, helping practices identify and address low-performing providers.
Status of Dashboard Updates for 2025
CMS releases updates to the quality measure specifications annually for the MIPS program. These measure specifications have been reviewed, and Practice Insights is working on the required technical updates to align with the revised requirements. Ontada will continue to notify practices once measures have been updated based on the current 2025 requirements.
