In the February 2024 release, newly created VBC Care Plans allowed a new order for a Dietary Consult for a patient to automatically update the status of the Dietitian Referral section to yes and add the referral date. After this release, existing VBC Care Plans will allow previous orders for a Dietary Consult to be automatically counted, ensuring all relevant information regarding the dietary consultation is documented and accessible.

Practice Preferences

Preferences related to orders have been moved to a new Order Preferences subtab on the Practice Preferences page. Order Settings, Order Reminder Settings, and Orders Queue Settings will now be updated from this area.

To update Order Settings, make the desired changes and save your changes. Changes to the other sections do not require saving. All changes will be effective when the user logs out and logs back in.
