Update to flow of clinical notes to the Carequality network Copied

We’re updating how electronically signed clinical notes are shared with the Carequality network by combining the release of notes to the network with the ability to release notes to the patient portal. This will help ensure that the right documents are shared with the right party at the right time and further streamlines the flow of clinical information.

Key updates

Updated wording in clinical notes and templates

The setting previously labeled “Release to Patient Portal” has been updated to Release to Patient Portal or HIE in both the Manage > Clinical Note Templates section and the clinical note itself (callouts 1-3).

Updated release options

• When the Release to Patient Portal or HIE setting is turned “On”, notes will be sent to both the patient portal and Carequality after being signed.
• When the setting is turned “Off”, notes will not be sent to either the patient portal or Carequality.
