Fix: Therapeutic Interchange Payer ID search results align with patient chart data Copied

What’s changing

When users configure payer rules, payer search results will now reflect updated Payer ID handling. This helps ensure the payer IDs available for selection match how payer information is stored in the patient chart when insurance data is received from the practice management system.

Note: Existing payer rules must be re-entered after the release to align with the enhanced payer ID handling and ensure rules apply as expected. If a payer ID is not displayed with the carrier name when configuring payer rules, it has not yet been received through the interface.

Reminder: Payer rules apply to regimen orders based on the payer ID and payer name listed in the patient’s insurance section on the Demographics tab at the time the regimen is ordered.

Why this matters

These updates align payer rule configuration with changes to how payer information is stored in the patient chart when insurance data is received from the practice management system, ensuring payer rules match the appropriate patient insurance records and are applied as expected during regimen ordering.
