Treatment Plan: New Plans for Radiation Options Copied

What’s changing

Two new options have been added to the Plans for Radiation dropdown in the Treatment Plan tab:

• Plan for External Beam Radiation Therapy
• The above listed recommended treatment course is an injected radiation therapy

Why this matters

With the growing use of radiopharmaceuticals, patients are increasingly receiving radiation therapy across multiple modalities such as injected radiation therapy and external beam radiation, sometimes concurrently. These new options allow care teams to clearly document and differentiate the planned radiation approach, reducing ambiguity and supporting more precise treatment planning.
