Protecting practice user privacy in patient messaging Copied

To better protect the privacy of practice users when communicating with patients, we’re implementing changes to how usernames are displayed within the Ontada Health admin tools.

Now, practice users who contact patients through the Ontada Health admin tools will have their last names obscured. Previously, full first and last names were displayed, potentially compromising user privacy. With this enhancement, only the practice user’s full first name and the initial of their last name will be visible.

This update will be reflected across the patient portal, specifically within the New Messages widget on the For Me page and on the Messages page (callouts 1-3). This ensures a consistent and streamlined approach to user privacy across all communication channels.
