More detailed patient portal status in iKnowMed Copied

To give practices better visibility into a patient’s portal enrollment progress, we’re updating the Patient Portal Status displayed in the iKnowMed patient banner.

Previously, the portal status was limited to “None” or “Enrolled.” With this release, practices will see a more informative range of statuses:

  • None: The patient is new to iKnowMed and no portal activity has been initiated.
  • Invite Sent: A portal invitation has been sent but enrollment is not yet complete. This status also includes patients whose:
    • Invite bounced or failed
    • Invite link expired
    • Identity has not been verified
    • Password was set but DOB confirmation was incomplete
    • Portal migration from another patient portal is in progress
  • Enrolled: The patient has completed portal enrollment and verification.

These expanded statuses can help practices track portal adoption and assist patients more effectively throughout the onboarding process.
